He's not a newborn anymore...

Hard to believe but Aiden is no longer considered a "newborn" in medical terms. He is now an "infant"...I guess I never really knew there was a difference! We took him to his 2 month check up on Friday and all is great with him! The doctor was very pleased with his growth and his progress! He is now 13 pounds 4 ounces and 24 inches long. He did have to get 4 shots which was heartbreaking to watch b/c he didn't know what hit him and he gave me and Mike the saddest pout we've seen yet! Not to worry, as soon as the nurst was done pricking him, we scooped him up and calmed him down long enough to put his clothes on and get him into his car seat. Thankfully he forgot about the pain before we were out of the parking lot, he was asleep in no time, I think he wore himself out!

Yesterday Aiden and I had dinner at my parents house b/c daddy had plans after work with a client. While we were there we picked up some fun things from Aiden's cousins (the Becklets)! Aiden got his first piece of furniture, a Bumbo chair! When we got home Mike put him in the seat and oh my...we were nearly crying we were laughing so hard! It was so cute, Aiden thought he was such a big boy sitting on his own! He sat there for a good 20 minutes before he had enough and wanted out!

He was talking to daddy while mommy took 200 pictures!

We have a big party this Friday with our friends. There are 8 of us (4 couples) and 3 of the couples have baby boys under 6 months old the other couple has a 3 year old and a little girl due in January. It's going to be a fun time with all the babies together for the first time! I'll be sure to take the camera and get lots of pictures! We also have Mike's work holiday party on Thursday night which will for sure be a good time!

The Eagles future starting QB!

Have a great week everyone!

Thanksgiving!

Mike and I had a wonderful first Thanksgiving with Aiden...we started the day at Grandma's house and enjoyed some time with her. Then we headed to Scott and Susan's where a fun time was had by all at this year's Dornisch Thanksgiving celebration! We all enjoyed the wonderful spread the Cavada's provided (thank you)!

We then tried to have a photo shoot with all 11 grandchildren but as you can see they didn't all want to cooperate but the picture sure does give the sense of chaos that was happening in the "studio"!

The day proved to be a bit too exciting for Daniel to handle! Or maybe he was just trying to get some quiet time away from his sisters!

The eleven little Dornisch "angels"!

The kids table...

We just love this picture of Aiden and his winter hat that Nanny got him that will probably fit him next year too!

Out little turkey.

Can't wait for Christmas! Only 18 more days...can you stand it?!?!
